SETS FOR THE MAIN BATTLE SCENE ARE ALREADY BEING BUILT AT CHLUM (25/04/2016)

At the actual sites of the 1866 battle, from 12 April for about a month, a team of 10 workers will be constructing them. Four main and several smaller structures will gradually rise here. The largest object will be a mill measuring 6 x 14 metres with a mill wheel four metres in diameter. There will also be two residential buildings measuring 6 x 12 metres and a sheepfold measuring 6 x 6 metres. These will be complemented, for example, by paddocks, a well, a footbridge and straw figures.  Together with pyrotechnic effects and military history units, the sets will help create an image of the fighting that took place in the same places on 3 July 1866.
